SUN GODDESS ($3.70) asserted her superiority in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) with Green Empress second for a $20.76 exacta and Curracloe third for a $38.65 50-cent trifecta and Amusingly fourth for a $28.61 dime superfecta. HUGHES ($3.64) made himself the ante-post Kentucky Derby (G1) favorite by winning the Fan Duel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) for Bob Baffert. HAFFNER (9.36) won the last event of the day, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) with Folsom Blues second for a $30.32 exacta. The winner also capped off a $54.71 50-cent Pick Four and a $124.41 50-cent Pick Five.
Saturday kicked off with RIGHT IN TIME ($6.28) in the second race and FLOODLIGHTS ($20.08) in the third event with Booth the runner-up for a $74.96 exacta. Chad Brown’s WAYS AND MEANS ($4.14) got a great ride from Flavien Prat in the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) and anchored a dollar $180.54 Pick Three. BACIO ($6.36) showed off his brilliant speed in the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1) with Cyfair second for a $74.54 exacta. The winner also made for a dollar $187.30 Pick Three and a $276.07 50-cent Pick Four. FURTHER ADO ($4.02) eked out a nostril score in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) and then KATHYNMARISSA ($13.24) captured the Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1), ending a $62.37 Dollar Pick Three, a $97.44 50-cent Pick Four and a $1649.08 50-cent Pick Five. Japanese star T O ELVIS ($7.58) won the Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) with heavily favored Englishman second for a $7.90 exacta and an $80.16 Pick Three. Consistent DETERMINISTIC ($12.10) ran huge in the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) with the venerable Notable Speech second for a $29.30 exacta, making a $162.01 dollar Pick Three, a $174.57 50-cent Pick Four and a 575.74 50-cent Pick Five. NITROGEN ($3.58) won the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff with Fully Subscribed second for a $6.18 exacta. That ended our day, as we whiffed on the final two races.
